Important Information for Passengers with Food Allergies

To ensure every passenger enjoys a safe and pleasant journey, we kindly remind travellers with known food allergies to read the following important information carefully.

 

1) Peanut and Nut Allergies

As peanuts and nuts are commonly used in various food items, peanut oils, and seasonings, we regret that we are unable to guarantee that meals provided on board are completely free from contact with peanuts, tree nuts, or their traces during preparation or handling. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee that our in-flight meals are entirely free from peanuts, tree nuts, or related by-products.

 

2) Food Allergies

We offer lactose-free meals (NLML) on selected flights, prepared without milk, dried milk solids, cream, cheese, yoghurt, butter, or other lactose‑containing dairy products. However, please note that meals may still encounter milk or dairy ingredients during processing or preparation, and trace contamination may occur. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our in-flight meals are completely free from dairy products or their derivatives.

 

3) Cabin Environment

Please note that we are unable to guarantee that the cabin environment is completely free from allergens, due to the following factors:

  • Snacks, meals, or beverages served on board may contain different allergens.
  • Food residues may remain on seats or cabin surfaces during or after meal service.
  • Airborne particles or traces of allergens may be present in the cabin air or on surfaces.
  • Other passengers may bring products on board that contain allergenic ingredients.

 

If You Have a Severe Food Allergy

If you have a history of severe allergic reactions, we strongly recommend that you always carry your own prescribed medication and consult your doctor before travelling to determine whether it is safe for you to fly.
